Abstract
It is demonstrated that linalyl acetate is biosynthesised via the non-mevalonate (1-deoxyxylulose phosphate) terpene pathway in the plant Mentha citrata. The incorporation of isotopically labelled DL-[3-H-2(3)]-alanine and [6,6-H-2(2)]-D-glucose has rev
