Abstract
When leaves of Apium graveolens are exposed to vapours of methyl jasmonate (MeJa) or fed through the petiole with aqueous solutions of jasmonic acid (Ja), the levels of natural furanocoumarins, in particular xanthotoxin and bergapten, are greatly increa
