Zusammenfassung
Nearby pulsar wind nebulae (PWNe) are postulated as one of the possible sources of the excess positrons detected by PAMELA, Fermi, and AMS. With the detection by HAWC of the nearby PWN Geminga, the existence of a multi-TeV electron and positron accelerator within a few hundred parsec of the Earth is now confirmed. On this contribution we will give an overview of the latest results on the spectral and morphological analysis of Geminga, the origin of the extended TeV gamma-ray emission and its contribution to the positron flux at the Earth. We will also report on other gamma-ray sources of large angular extent coincident with nearby pulsars seen by HAWC.
