Abstract
Experimental and numerical investigations of phase-preserving amplitude regeneration in a DPSK transmission with a NALM have shown that a 3dB improvement of the Q-factor or alternatively a 3dB increase of fiber-launched power could be achieved. (C) 2008 Optical Society of America
