要旨
The nonlinear amplifying loop mirror as a nonlinear phase-shift compensator for multilevel phase-encoded optical signals is considered. Simulations of a 20 Gb/s DQPSK transmission system showed a significant BER improvement for post-compensation. (C) 2008 Optical Society of America
