Abstract
Jasmonic acid (JA) is part of a long-distance signal- transduction pathway that effects increases in de-novo nicotine synthesis in the roots of Nicotiana sylvestris Speg et Comes (Solanaceae) after leaf wounding. Elevated nicotine synthesis increases wh
