Zusammenfassung
The effect of the preparation method of Pt/Al2O3 and Pt/CeO2-Al2O3 catalysts, containing 12 wtof CeO2, on stability in the partial oxidation of methane was evaluated. Both supports and Pt catalysts were obtained by a solgel method. The preparation method and support composition have a strong influence on the agglomeration of Pt. Ce-containing catalysts, obtained by the one-step sol-gel method, show high stability in the partial oxidation of methane at 1073 K.
