Abstract
The magnetoresistance and the Hall coefficient RH of UPd2Al3 were investigated on single crystals for different directions of the applied field B. The pronounced anisotropy observed below TN for fields along different axes within the basal plane can be well accounted for by a reorientation of the ordered moments. The Hall effect is also anisotropic for fields parallel and perpendicular to the easy plane. In the latter case the results can be reasonably well fitted with the theory of Fert and Levy, whereas in the former case discrepancies between experimental and calculated data develop at low temperatures.
