Abstract
The thermal conductivity к(T) of sintered YBa2Cu3O7-δ samples follows a T3 dependence for T ≦ 0.8K due to the phonon size effect. For superconducting material (δ = 0.1), an additional linear term AT exists in к(T) which is absent in the semiconducting samples (δ > 0:63). This aT term is attributed to some low-energy excitations different from phonons. The low-T thermal expansion of all samples studied is dominated by extrinsic effects.
