Abstract
We present magnetoresistance (MR ) measurements of the non-Fermi liquid system UCu4Pd. At low temperatures the MR is small and negative. In the temperature range from 2 to 30 K we observe a linear dependence of the MR on B2B2, i.e., Δρ/ρ0=αB2Δρ/ρ0=αB2. The temperature dependence of αα scales with χχ, indicating spin disorder scattering as the source for the MR. We discuss the implications of the temperature dependence of the magnetoresistive behavior.
