Abstract
Presented are results in thermal conductivity improvement of epoxy samples loaded with boron nitride (BN) powder. Three samples with an 18, 28 and 35wt amount of BN powder are fabricated and their thermal conductivities are measured. High frequency dielectric properties of the epoxy samples loaded with BN are extracted. It is shown that loading of composites with BN powder significantly increases the thermal conductivity of material without changing its dielectric properties, which is important in microwave absorbing materials synthesis.
