Abstract
Abstract A new diagnosis is given for Zelandobius. The descriptions of Zelandobius confusus (Hare), Z. furcillatus Tillyard, and Z. unicolor Tillyard are revised and Z. pallidus Winterbourn is placed in synonymy with Z. confusus (Hare). The genitalia and larva of Z. unicolor Tillyard are described for the first time. Z. illiesi n.sp., is described and figured. Keys to adults and larvae are given, and Z. hudsoni (Hare) is declared nomen dubium.
