Abstract
Greenhouses were set over two mountain streams near Lunz Am See, Lower Austria. The quantitative results of the Psychodidae emergence from 1972-1974 are presented. The Psychodidae emergence is between 35.95 mg/m2 and 124.88 mg/m2 for the Schreierbach but between 13.49 mg/m2 and 32.66 mg/m2 for the Teichbach. Probable reasons for these differences, mainly temperature and moss-vegetation, are discussed.
