Abstract
The L. aculeata sp. nov. male is exceptional in having a strong spine on the other paraproctal lobe. Instead of the usual sclerites, abdominal tergites 7 and 8 have setose lateral swellings. The strongly setose female subgenital plate is bilobed. Close relatives of L. aculeata are not known.
