Abstract

Genus Neoperlops Banks is resurrected from synonymy with Neoperla Needham and is assigned to tribe Perlini. It appears to be closely related to genus Tetropina Klapalek. T. fulgescens (Enderlein) and T. larvata Klapalek (= Neoperla nangina Navas, syn.n) are redescribed from types and other material, N. gressitti Banks and N. obscuripennis Banks from types only. Two species formerly included in Tetropina are transferred to other genera: Neoperlops cheni (Wu), comb.n. and Etrocorema hochii (Wu), comb.n..
