Abstract
In 1932, Edwards provided a short description of a new thaumaleid midge, T. libanica, from Mt. Lebanon. He neither gave figures of the genitalia of either sex, nor designated a holotype. The following description is based on material from the British Museum (Nat. Hist.), London.
