Abstract
The holotype male of Tylopyge planidorsa Klapálek, 1913, the type species of genus Tylopyge Klapálek, 1913 is redescribed. It is a distinctive species of Paragnetina. Genus Tylopyge is a synonym of Paragnetina Klapálek, 1907.
