Abstract
A collection of South African Psychodidae (Diptera), made by Dr. Haeselbarth during 1963/64, contained 13 species, 5 of which are new to science. Sycorax duckhousi, spec. nov., Clytocerus haselbarthi, spec. nov., Telmatoscopus ochraceus, spec. nov., Psychoda serrata, spec. nov. and Psychoda cylindrica, spec. nov. are described and figured and their distinguishing characters are discussed. The sclerotized genital structures of Clytocerus zuluensis Duckhouse and Telmatoscopus ochraceus, spec. nov. are described and their possible function is compared with those of related genera.
