Abstract
The Net-Winged Midges of the Iberian peninsula and the Pyrenees are reviewed and their distributions briefly outlined. Liponeura isabellae n. sp. from the north-west of Spain and the widespread L. hispanica n. sp. are named. The latter species was previously confused with L. gelaiana Giudicelli et Lavandier, 1975, its presence in Spain requires confirmation. The interrelations of the Liponeura species are discussed and informal groups proposed. Keys to adult males, pupae and larvae are provided.
