Abstract
Reaction of pyridine with the “constrained geometry” fluorenyl(hydrido)yttrium complex {[(3,6‐tBu2Flu)SiMe2NtBu]Y(H)(THF)}2 selectively gives the 1,4‐addition product [η51‐(3,6‐tBu2Flu)SiMe2NtBu]Y(η1‐NC5H6)(py)2, which was characterized by single‐crystal X‐ray diffraction and 1H and 13C NMR spectroscopy.
