Abstract
In this work, a model for simulating electron dynamics in strong femtosecond-laser fields was developped. Autoionizing states in helium were examined, where interference with the continuum plays a vital role. Quantum interference effects ocurring after few Rabi cycles in strong laser fields also play an important role in understanding the light-matter-interaction. Fano-resonances and the Stark-shift in the laser field were observed and compared to measurements.
