Zusammenfassung
In recent years there is a growing necessity for indoor location based services. Although, many solutions had been proposed, universal applicability of the solutions to all the services is not feasible. In this paper, a hybrid prototype system that can be easily integrated to any indoor location based applications is presented. The constructed hybrid prototype comprises of three potential sensor components namely Bluetooth, RFID and MEMS sensor. The advantage of using a hybrid system in comparison to solutions based on single sensors is validated. Overall, the experimental results substantiate the reliability and competence of the proposed system.
