Abstract: The specific heat of CePd2.02Ge1.98 has been measured with an ac calorimetric technique up to 22 GPa for temperatures in the range 0.3 K < T < 10 K. A thermocouple allowed the temperature oscillations to be read when an ac heating current was sent through the sample. The inverse of the thermovoltage V, recorded at low temperature exhibits a pronounced anomaly as a function of pressure. It is shown that 1/V-ac extrapolated to zero temperature is a measure of the Sommerfeld coefficient gamma.
