Zusammenfassung: This study aimed at characterizing the spatio-temporal dynamics of BOLD response at high magnetic field (7T) in the human visual cortex. The spatial pattern of the BOLD response remained approximately stationary across the positive phase of the response. The onset of the response was relatively spatially coherent compared to previous reports from lower magnetic fields. The approximate stationarity of the positive phase of the response validates the usage of analysis methods that assume separability of time and space of the BOLD response.
