Abstract: We present a fast iterative pre-emphasis calibration approach applied to a 3rd order DSU system, using spatio-temporal field monitoring to determine the ideal pre-emphasis settings. The major advantage of this technique compared to FASTERMAP based approaches is the higher time resolution and the significantly decreased expenditure of time.
