Abstract: A new genus and species of Insecta: Phasmatodea from New Caledonia is described. The taxonomic position of Caledoniophasma marshallae n. gen., n. sp. is uncertain, it appears to be closest related to the Eurycanthinae or Xeroderinae, but differs strikingly in the morphology of the genitalia. The type is housed in the Natural History Museum, London (BMNH)
