Zusammenfassung:
Nymphs of all developmental stages of Cornops aquaticum were collected from their host Eichhornia azurea in northern Pantanal wetlands, Mato Grosso, Brazil. Nine aquatic macrophytes and two vegetable species were offered as a food source three times during a 12 day period in the laboratory (different seasons). Survival of the 30 nymphs tested on each plant occurred only on Pontederiaceae: on Eichhornia azurea 90 % of the total nymphs survived, on E. crassipes up to 70 % and on Pontederia parviflora 30 %.
