Abstract: A lectotype for Eutactophlebia reticulata Klapalek, type speciesof genusEutactophlebia Klapalek, 1914, is designated and its genitalia are described. The name Eutactophlebia is suppressed as an invalid synonym of Kempnyia Klapalek, 1914. The species so far included in Eutactophlebia (gracilenta Enderlein, petropolitana Navas, reticulata Klapalek, serrana Navas) are all transferred to Kempnyia. K. calabriae Joost, 1980, is a junior synonym of K. reticulata .
