Abstract: Langevin dynamics simulations are used to investigate the equilibrium magnetization properties and structure of magnetic dipolar fluids. The influence of using different boundary conditions are systematically studied. Simulation results on the initial susceptibility and magnetization curves are compared with theoretical predictions. The effect of particle aggregation is discussed in detail by performing a cluster analysis of the microstructure.
