This inventory offers information on 583 historical social research projects, completet, ongoing or planned, in the Federal Republic of Germany, Austria and Switzerland. The projects are described
by themes, research methods used, publications, and project reports. Access to information is facilitated by indexes of subject matter, names, as well as regions. Additionally, an introduction by D. Oberwittler contains the results of a quantitative analysis of the projects.
