 Abstract: Neural networks, here, mean mathematical models of biological neural networks composed of neurons. There have been many works on neural networks since the seminal paper by McCulloch and Pitts in 1943 [1]. Although neurons are connected through synapses in complicated ways in the living brain, typical architectures of neural network models are classified into feedforward networks and feedback networks as shown in Fig. 1.
