要旨: Larvae of Simuliidae (Diptera) possess an unpaired ventral "proleg" on the first thoracic segment. It bears characteristic sclerites and bristles. These are considered useful for determination of genera. A new key is given to european genera of Simuliidae. The figures on tables 2 to 4 are arranged as in the scheme of figure 1.
