Abstract: A small collection of Psychodidae from Senegambia, West Africa, contained the following species: The cosmopolitans Tinearia alternata (Say), Psychoda parthenogenetica (Tonnoir), the tropicopolitan Clogmia albipunctata (Williston), Brunettia albonotata (Brunetti), common in tropical Africa and India, and a new species. Setomima senegambica n.sp., is described and compared with the already known species of the genus.
